It's Only Forever

“Help me Jareth…” she spoke with enough force to be heard, her voice sounding forced. “Do what you have to.”

Her words faded, consciousness ebbing as she spoke.
The clock chimed. She was his – forever.

As he carried her back to his castle, he sang softly to her.

“It’s only forever,
Not long at all,
The lost and the lonely,
That’s underground…”
